DMCA Safe Harbor Notice

VYOU respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). If you believe that content available through VYOU infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent.

Required Elements of a Takedown Notice

A valid DMCA notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material and sufficient information to locate it (URL).
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to the same address. Counter-notifications must meet the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). We will restore removed content within 10–14 business days of receiving a valid counter-notification unless the complainant files a court action.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, we maintain a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Public Domain Content

A significant portion of VYOU's catalog consists of films and programs that are in the public domain. If you believe a title has been incorrectly categorized as public domain, please contact us at [email protected] and we will review the status promptly.
